Haliplus (Paraliaphlus) eremicus Wells 1989:89

Wells (1989) did not assign Haliplus eremicus to a subgenus. He stated, however, that it was most closely related to Haliplus mimeticus Matheson. Leech (1956) assigned Haliplus mimeticus to the subgenus Paraliaphlus. Roughley (unpublished) notes the likelyhood that Haliplus ermicus also is a Paraliaphlus.
