Lectotype female (designated by Van Vondel 1991:117) in the Zoological Museum, University of Moscow. Type locality: USSR, NW of Caspian Sea, Berscho-Ko.

Distribution
Austria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Italy, Rumania, and Yugoslavia (Van Vondel 1991:119 notes that all European specimens examined by him were collected 60 or more years earlier, so the species may be extirpated from Europe); Afghanistan, Israel, Syria, and USSR near Iranian border.
