EDUCATION RESEARCH SUPPORT Principal Investigator - Long Term Illinois River Fish Population Monitoring Program Illinois Department of Natural Resources and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Sportfish Restoration Project Long Term Resource Monitoring Program, La Grange Reach. I began working with the Illinois River Biological Station in 1997 as a Field Technician assisting with several different projects focusing mostly on fish sampling. In January of 2000 I moved on to become the Large River Ecologist - Fisheries Specialist involved with the Long Term Illinois River Fish Population Monitoring Program studying the fish communities in all reaches of the Illinois River. I am also involved with the fisheries and water quality components of the Long Term Resource Monitoring Program sampling the fish community and water quality parameters of the LaGrange Reach of the Illinois River. Like most people here at the field station I enjoy the outdoors in my free time, spending as much time as possible fishing and hunting, concentrating mostly on bow hunting. |
