The Herpetologists' League publishes two scholarly journals---the quarterly Herpetologica, which contains original research papers, essays and book reviews, and the annual supplement Herpetological Monographs (HM), which contains longer research articles, syntheses, and special symposia.
The Herpetologists' League also publishes a biannual newsletter, HL Communications, which includes current news, updates from officers, information from granting agencies, letters to the editor from our members, and general notices of interest to our membership. HL Communications is available on-line. E-mail notifications are sent out to members in good standing who have supplied the League with a current e-mail address.
The Herpetologists' League has recently embarked on a program to support the publication of books of interest to our community, and to provide our members the opportunity to purchase these books for a limited time at specially discounted prices.
