This study attempts to document the kinds, relative abundance and distribution of fungi in Illinois. Papers on new and interesting species are published periodically and the collections are maintained in the INHS mycological collections (ILLS).

Members of the Meliolaceae are host specific parasites. This project consists of updating the nomenclature of the fungi in the family Meliolaceae and documenting the plants they parasitize. This index is intended as an aid to identification.
