April 4, 1996 Dr. George Ham Dear George: On behalf of the NCR-148 committee, we would like to thank you for your dedicated service as the administrative advisor to NCR-148. You have supported and guided NCR-148 through several important developments during the past 5 years. During your tenure, membership increased to include many states outside of the North Central region. State and federal scientists united as committed partners in research and committee activities. New affiliations were forged with the American Meteorological Society, Alliance for Aerobiology Research, Pan-American Aerobiology Association, and other organizations. These developments have strengthened the Committee's mission and collaborative interactions. You have provided administrative input and advice to NCR-148, but ensured that committee members would retain the technical leadership of the regional project. We will miss your thoughtful guidance and encouragement. You have completed your term as administrative advisor, but not before receiving approval of the project renewal from the Directors of the Agricultural Experiment Stations. We wish you the very best in future endeavors, and hope that you keep in touch. Sincerely yours, John K. Westbrook, Chairman NCR-148 Committee members are invited to add their personal
good wishes to this letter
