Reptiles and Amphibians of Illinois
April 15-17.
Join INHS Herpetologists Chris Phillips, Mike Dreslik and Jen Mui as we explore the reptiles and amphibians of Southern Illinois. The class will be held at the Henry N. Barkhausen Cache River Wetland Center, near Vienna. Sites visited will include Heron Pond, Section 8 Woods, La Rue Pine Hills and Wildcat Bluff.

Dragonflies, Butterflies and Skippers of Northwestern Illinois
July 29-31
Explore Northwestern Illinois with an emphasis on the charismatic insects. Instructors will be survey affiliates Jim Wiker and Richard Day and INHS scientists Michael Jeffords and Randy Nyboer. The class will be held at Lost Mound with field trips to Lost Mound Preserve, Ayers Sand Prairie, Mississippi Palisades State Park and Spring Lake.

 

Registration Information

Tuition for each course is $200 and includes course materials, all meals starting with lunch on Tuesday and ending with lunch on Thursday, snacks, and some course transportation, when appropriate.

Registrations will be accepted until each course is full, so register early!
