
A new Illinois Natural History Survey mobile classroom is available to visit schools and communities north of Interstate 80 in Illinois.
The INHS Traveling Science Center, a 320 square foot mobile classroom, features informative panels on Biodiversity, focusing on Illinois.
Students will learn about the types of habitats, species diversity, and geology of their region. Other topics include exotic invasive species and stewardship. Activities are available to extend the Traveling Science Center educational experience to the classroom. Check here for dates and locations of events that are open to the public.
