Activities Monitoring forest regeneration and understory dynamics in response to the Great Flood of 1993 and 1994 on the Illinois River. Comparing plant community development in created wetlands in three geographic zones in Illinois. Comparing understory dynamics in floodplain forests along three Illinois rivers differing in hydrologic regime: the Illinois, the Rock, and the Spoon.
