The Used Tire Act (ILCS 5/53 to 55.7a) established the Used Tire Management Fund, and reporting is required as part of the Illinois Compiled Statutes for the Waste Tire Act, under Used Tires (415 ILCS 5/55.6) in the Environmental Safety section of the IL EPA statutes. Each state agency receiving an appropriation from the Used Tire Management Fund is required to report to the Governor and the General Assembly on its activities relating to the Fund.
Again this year, in an effort to reduce expenditures but also become "more green" in our day-to-day functions, we are providing the biennial report electronically. Our report summarizes the accomplishments of the Medical Entomology Program and fulfills the reporting requirement for 2010/11. The report is available at http://www.inhs.illinois.edu/research/MedEnt/MedEnt_BiennialRpt2010-11.pdf
