Larval rearing cups   Therevid larvae are sifted from sandy soils and set individually in diet cups that are partially filled with sand. The larvae are fed beetle larvae every few days until they pupate. At that time any "food" is removed so it will not attack the quiescent pupa. Descriptions of larvae and pupae will be matched with the adults that emerge.
