a digital medium with which to render.

Knowledge of illustration and rendering has always been needed and
is still needed to achieve professional and accurate drawings for
publication. A class in illustration would be a good addition to
a standard curriculum in entomology.

Dispel the myth - the computer is not the end for illustrators,
but, rather it is a beginning!
