Maya Patel

Maya Patel illustrated the variation in female terminalia in the key Australian therevid genus, Anabarhynchus, during the summer of 1996. She recently completed a Masters degree in Entomology at the University of Illinois with a field project on the color attraction of the dipteran family Dolichopodidae in soybean and prairie ecosystems. Maya is teaching introductory biology at Cornell University and Ithaca College as well as working in Monica Geber's lab in the Ecology department at Cornell.
