| Activities | I am a Technical Scientist (Waterfowl Biologist) for the Illinois Natural History Survey. I conduct waterfowl, waterbird, and other wetland related research in central Illinois. Specifically, I conduct and assist with investigations of nesting mallards in Fulton County using radio telemetry, moist-soil plant communities and waterbird use of Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge, wood duck use of natural tree cavities and artificial nest boxes, and aerial inventories for waterbirds along the Illinois and Mississippi rivers. |
