Activities Development of circuitry and hardware for such equipment and for cooperating with software developers to produce firmware/software in working systems; participate with scientists and other users in testing such equipment and in determining how to upgrade it to correct problems and increase functionality; visiting field sites to supervise and participate in installing, testing and fixing the equipment; instructing users in proper use of equipment and proper procedures for reporting problems with it; assisting in obtaining support for research and preparing reports and manuscripts for publication.

Research
Refurbishment, maintenance, enhancements to X-Band tracking/non-tracking radar systems for use in studying airborne biology.

Design of GPS enabled autonomous wildlife audio monitoring systems.

Development of autonomous systems to track wildlife radio RF tagged for study.
