Activities I have been working on the Global Plants Initiative, in association with JSTOR/Ithaka, to scan and database vascular plant, cryptogamic, and fungal type specimens housed in the ILL, ILLS, and CEL (Crop Evolution Laboratory) herbaria as well as several regional partner herbaria (>10,000 specimens).

I am currently working on the Tri-Trophic Digitization effort under the ADBC (Advanced Digitization of Biological Collections) program, photographing and databasing families of North American vascular plants commonly attacked by phytophagous Hemiptera (eventually, >100,000 specimens).
