| Research |
Ecology of running water ecosystems and with an emphasis on distributions of macroinvertebrates and fish. My general research interest concerns how physical conditions in running waters influence the distribution and abundance of fish and macroinvertebrates. My focus has been on how characteristics of the catchment influence the thermal and hydrologic properties of wadeable streams and using this information for conservation. Recently my efforts have been aimed at providing scientific support for the Streams Campaign of the Illinois Wildlife Action Plan. |
