| Activities | GIS/Remote Sensing Specialist and Illinois Gap Analysis Project Coordinator. Develop and maintain spatial databases (ArcInfo and ArcView) and habitat associations for vertebrates (mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians) in Illinois; develop and assess vertebrate distribution maps and habitat relationship models using vegetation distributions derived from satellite imagery; assist in classification of TM satellite imagery, to community level classification standards. |
