The photo to the left shows an Illinois cave that was once beautiful - a classic bluff face entrance looking out over a floodplain. Unfortuantely, the cave has become well known, and is regularly visited by cave vandals. As you can tell from the photo (below right) taken inside the entrance of the same cave, the damage has been extreme.
